Verify that your work qualifies as a PPT internship. Per the course catalog, the internship must provide experience in the area of Process Plant Technology. Check with your instructor if there are questions.
The 1 credit internship requires 45 hours in a plant.
You must register for the course when you start working to earn credit. It isn't possible to give credit retroactivly for work completed earlier.
Find the "I found an internship" button and click it.
Use this syllabus link as a guide to requirements. Career Link will ask for goals. There are example goals at the end of the syllabus that we have developed over the years that you are likely to find useful. Pick some you like an enter into Career Link.
Verify that you are enrolled in the D2L class. This has to happen for you to get credit and will take a day or two after all approvals are complete. It is important to keep on this as things can stall. Sometimes and employer or supervisor won't complete the email approval and the process will stall. I can't see the process, so it is important to make sure it works. Contact me or Career Services (657-2168 / firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have trouble.
Complete the requirements detailed in the syllabus.
